Hot women usually don't get tickets cause they act pretty so we should charge them extra too.

All a woman has to do is cry. Last 3 of my ex's got out of speeding tickets doubling the speed limit by doing that. Me? i got a ticket the first time i was pulled over... and the second... and the third... and the fourth.... and the fifth... and the sixth... and the seventh... and the eighth. (i got 4 of them thrown out)

Any rules or law that wants rich people to pay more than "poor" people because they are rich is absolute hogwash. There should be a set number for every tax, every bill, every fine. Things like this should not be changed based on person's income. After awhile, that rich person won't even be rich anymore since they had to spend extra money on all of that just because they were rich.

All in all, I don't agree.

Is there a reason you are against it or why you dont believe yes is winning?

Charging someone more because the make more... thats just fucking backwards and greedy. What about drug dealers who make 0 dollars a year and drive an escalade? What about people who make 60k a year and have their house in forcloser? What about people who make 140k a year and have 6 dependants?

a traffic fine is supposed to be a punishment for breaking a law. $100 fine to someone who only makes 500 a week is a punishment, a 100 fine for someone who makes 1,000 or more a week is not as bad as a punishment. Same when they make even more. This isnt taxes here, this is punishing someone for breaking a law. The Germans do it pretty well from what I have read, and they do take those kind of scenarios into thought, maybe not the drug dealer one.

But for the drug dealer one I would say make drugs legal, his income is than legal, and he will fined based on his income, so no issue than

I'd like to know what infraction only costs 100$'s

I don't know what you think of the legal system but it is already over worked and clogged to all shit. A simple speeding ticket takes over a month to get a court date. I havent made any progress in over a year with a custody case. I have no clue who you think would have time to sort out all the bullshit to determine the fine but it would be impractical and costly. Also income is not static so its not like you can base it off last years because someone could have a kid or no job by the time he gets pulled over

Also there is already a point system thats a bigger deterrent than monetary fines.

there's no justification that people have to ask for people who make more money than them to pay more for the exact same thing.

What about the MD who makes a shit ton a year but lives in a shanty because of his debt from school.

This suggestion is absurd on so many levels

The Germans can do it, so can we, they base it off of your last years income, but should there be a massive change in that income you can petition to have it based on current income. Not too hard. I am not of the mind that its hard so lets not do it. Our court system is bogged down by our antiquated drug laws.
