Here's a comparison of sales between Dead Space, Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3.  As you can see, Dead Space 3 had the biggest opening week but looks like it will have the weakest legs of the franchise (Assuming we can trust this websites #s).  Keep in mind that the weekly/lifetime sales are only for the US.  The global sales include US, Europe etc...

Yeah, those are some RE6 level drops. Not a good sign.

Considering how they expected this to sell 5 million units, though--almost as much as both 1 and 2 combined--I doubt we'd have seen a 4th game regardless.

I'm just waiting for a bundle including all 4 games on PS3 with all DLCs. No point wasting money buying the games separately :P

Yea I put this game on the back burner once it started being more action less survival. than when I heard about the micro transactions I decided this game is a no buy for me

 

Can you add a colum that adds the ps3 and 360 sales for each week so its easier to compare?

4-5 million to break even. Are they nuts? Why would you put such a budget behind something that didn't sell that from the previous entries. Unless it pulls a COD. There's no way it reach that...
