GOW Ascension has more North American pre-sales but is also coming out a week earlier.  Still surprising that Gears of War Judgement isn't doing as well in the states, and previously a better selling franchise.  Nevertheless, both of the prequels are lagging behind the 3rd game of the series.

I agree Ascension will have much better legs but i think that they will both sell the same for some reason.

God of War easily. Ascension is owning Gears in the US and that's Gear's biggest market.

God of War Ascension was outselling (Pre-Orders) Gears of War Judgment before it got that 1 advertisement.

Retailers were talking pre-orders for God of War: Ascension around June last year and Gears of War: Judgment around November.

So what? God of War Ascension still outsold it every week in Nov,Dec,Jan without a single ad.

What? i seen plenty of God of War Ascension banners on various websites.

And i've seen plenty of Gears of War Judgment banners on various websites, and IGN keeps spamming my inbox with gears of war gameplays and trailers on YouTube.
