I'll be honest, the hype for Xenoblade was what made me curious about Baten Kaitos. I wasn't much of an RPG player during my GameCube days though.

I did. I started with the first one. I like it, but it didn't really suck me in. I got distracted and stopped playing. I'll finish eventually, and I've heard Origins is better.

For what it's worth, I played Xenoblade in bursts, too, but I have finished that one.
