Forums - Gaming Discussion - If PS4 and 720 do not support used games then the WiiU has already won

Doesn't affect me, I never buy games used.

Around the Network

Very few things would prevent me from purchasing a video game system, but this is one of them.

I think the fan outcry would be so intense that the company in question would back down. At least I hope that's the case.

What post from Conegamer?

i've only bought about 7 used games in my life over all 300+ games i ever bought! I only bought used cuz i missed out! (snes games wen we had GCN,etc)

Also it kinda will affect sony and ms since everytime, i mean everytime i go to gamestop you have that one guy between 19-27 years old trading in 5-8 used games for a new one? Crazy!

It'll be stupid, imagine owning a ps4, 4 years later it breaks or watever happens! Those 30 games you bought in those years go down the drain!

↑↑↑↑Imagine this↑↑↑↑ DISASTER

Sounds like a reliable source to me :P

@topic: I'd currently not be affected as I earn money without actually having to pay anything, but I know a lot of people who couldn't afford gaming without the option to sell their old games and use that money to buy new games.

This +1

I only buy new especially when they are dirt cheap ;O

Then this affect you, because one of the main reasons the games get cheap with time is so that they can have a competitive price in front of the used games market.

Off topic but just where is the weekly chart for 26th January??

if thats true... will it be able to play purchased games on different consoles ??

for example...I buy a game and want to play it with my friends at their houses

Worst thing that can happen to the games market consumer wise.
