I don't know if anybody realized this or not but Skyrim has most likely sold more than 15 million if we include digital, but retail it has sold more than 14 million copies.  So I just wanted to make a thread congratulating Bethesda for their accomplishment.  We forget to congratulate third party games sometime so good job Bethesda.

Those are quite amazing sales. I own it on 360 and PC, so Bethesda can thank me for that.

I'm kind of scared to pick this up for PS3...

You guys need to stop listening to what people say on da internetz. I logged over 145 hours in my Ps3 version of Skyrim and never had any major game altering bugs. It's all pc and 360 fans spreading that around that haven't even played the Ps3 version for themselves.

The main issue was at launch: there was a bug that lowered the framerate a ton once you got about halfway through the game. That bug has since been patched. I've played all 3 versions so I can safely say that Pc > console versions but 360 = Ps3 version, minus some color/text issues in which the 360 has a small advantage. Do your own research for once guys....

Now DLC, that's an entire different story.... But don't skip on the Ps3 version because of what you hear. Play it for yourself. 

I have it for PC personally but my Sister has it for PS3 and her and her fiance loves it.  They have been upset about the DLC issues but it looks like they are coming to PS3 so dont be scared to get it.  It is an amazing game no matter what platform you get it on.

don't be.  Got 2 copies and never had problems with either one.  Put 100 hours in on each one

Well, I can easily say that each one of those sales are well deserved, after putting hundreds of hours into this game.



Best open world game I have ever played.

Why would you play it on 2 copies? That's really weird and one of a kind.
