So, I'm looking to give Microsoft & Sony a fair chance at next-gen.  Previously, I was not happy with Sony due to constant malfunctions with my PS2 & terrible customer service support.  I went with Xbox 360 this gen, and I made sure to wait until the 3 year warranty was enacted before purchasing.  I was happy with Microsoft this gen -- even more than last gen.  Overall, I can say that I'm leaning towards Microsoft, but I'm seriously willing to wipe a clean slate for Sony this time around.  I'm not a fan of Kinect/Move controls -- I'm REALLY hoping this will not water down most future titles.

1. Has the RROD, YLOD or any other malfunction forced you to abandon Microsoft/Sony for next-gen?
2. Are you purchasing the console based upon pure fanboy/girl bias?  Be honest.
3. Will you purchase the console at launch, or will you wait for the "beta testers" to jump the gun?
4. What is your maximum budget to warrant a purchase?
5. Could an extended warranty sway you from purchasing a competitor's console?

Oh, btw, if Lost Odyssey 2 comes out as a launch title.... consider my credit card charged. Muahahha.

PlayStation 4, A.K.A The beast. i'll get it no matter what.

1- Never had any problems with my beloved fat ps3.

2- Yes, i'll get it because i'm a fanboy.

3- You'll find me sleeping on the street at launch day.

4- i'd sell my baby brother to afford it.

5- No never!!, even if they give it to me for free, i'd smack them in the face with it.

Ofcourse Xbox!!! BUT, I might buy a WiiU or PS4 as a second console.

Defiantly gonna get the ps4 and hopefully on the release date and ill pay upto £400 I guess 

I own PS1 and a PS1 slim, a PS2 and a PS2 Slim, a PS3, a PS3 slim and super Slim, a PSP and a Vita. Ive had no faults with any of the consoles at all so I will be getting the PS4 on release day. Now 2 be fair I did give Microsoft a chance, I picked up the old school fat 360 (Which RROD'd) it was fixed then 6 months later it RROD'd again after that I threw it out and picked up a 360 slim which worked great unitl the power unit bombed out and it stopped reading discs (This was fixed under warranty) and I still have the console now (I enjoy gears of war) but after being bit by microsofts poor system quality I will not be purchasing any form of Xbox from them again.

I don't know. Neither of them exist yet.

PS4 for me, no questions. UNLESS they blow it with a new funky controller. I don't do fads anymore. I think Kinect, and Move are stupid honestly. And you don't want to know what I think of the entire WiiU console. Learned my lesson from the shovelware box (Wii).

Xbox 3 all the way! Sony has proven with PS3 that they dont know anything about electronics anymore. Also MS know how to secure a great exclusivse from 3rd party developers (Gears, Saints Row, Mass Effect, all the DLCs).
