I just saw this and I suppose this explains why all of a sudden NoA is properly marketing Fire Emblem

Reggie must have become a fan of the game since he over time has become more and more of a gamer... specifically on the 3DS

it might well be the best fire emblem, which would be saying something. you can download a demo on 3ds network.

That's what I will be playing mostly in Feb 2013... until around the time Rayman Legends releases for Wii U

Glad to hear it. Shadow Dragon felt like such a letdown after the soaring heights of the Radiant duology.

Isn't Shadow Dragon just a remake of a gameboy game or something?

I thought it was an NES or SNES game, but yeah. Still, just because it's a remake doesn't mean you can't add in a bunch of cool features from more recent iterations. It just felt dull to me.

Shadow Dragon was to introduce people new to the series such as myself - that's why it was a remake of the original. And it that regard I can say that it succeeded - at least for me. Now I'm a huge fire emblem fan because of Shadow Dragon

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.
