People shouldnt compare what a console will do compared to what a PC can do.
I mean really think about this.
A few years ago if you seen BF3 running on PC would you think it could also be done on consoles (Sure its not as good as the PC version but still).

As the PS3 version has shown it is clearly NOT possible. Not even in the same league anymore.

Yet PS3 has games like Uncharted 3 Killzone 3 etc etc.

People are getting too hung up on comparing the specs to PC spec imo except when its come to consoles its never been an Apple vs Apple type of deal cos of all the over head a console has to deal with etc etc.

Just look at the specs of the 360 and Ps3 and now look the the specs it takes for a PC to run the same type of thing. you can see it takes a PC at least 3-4 steps above a console to run the same type of game.

I know that BF3 was mostly the engine's fault, but KZ3 and even UC3 (while looking gorgeous!) are in no way comparable to exclusives like Witcher 2 or Crysis 2 with DirectX 11 patch. But with a discussion like that I'd just do what you didn't want me to do in Post1^^

But still, PS4 needed much^^

Yes i know PC Will always be better (Your talking to a PC fanboy here) But i just dont think console people should be comparing the consoles specs to pc specs if you get what i mean??

Like a Hd6600 would do alot more (At least 2-3x more imo) then it would do in a PC, Cos Devs can then optimise their games for that hardware you get me??.

Trust me, I get you. I'm one of the few PC gamers on this site myself^^

They won't have these gpus.

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

For christs sake look at the benchmark of these cards. Metro 2033 at 1280x1024 min. 22fps, you might aswel get a laptop, they'll be more powerful.

If this rumor is true then forget Watch Dogs graphics on consoles.

What inside info you got for us now Turk me old boy?

We'll see atleast some form of the x800/x900 series as a dedicated gpu in one of the next gen consoles.

People just keep in mind that even IF these rumors are true, they could use GPUs based on these cards. So imagine they modified some specs (make it more power efficient) to be able to overclock them slightly. they could easily use another hardware revision.

so as of now, we can really not say these specs are too low.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

You dont understand how they work. You do know them cards matched with the the rest of the stuff the Xbox8 and PS4 is going to have will be alot more powerful then the 360 and PS3 right??.

Also isnt Watch Dogs meant to be a current gen game?? (And no im not getting mixed up with sleeping dogs).

You cant compare Console Specs to PC specs. For instance imagine the PC it would take to run Uncharted 3. Yeah it would need a more powerful pc then the PS3.

"ps4 will be more powerful than ps3" You don't say?

The rest of the stuff? What makes you think the rest of the stuff will be high end and not last last gen?  A 6670 is a very weak gpu and it was a very weak gpu 2 years ago when it came out. Don't expect a derivative from such an old low end card in the next gen consoles.

somebody fix

I'm just going to say one thing. Optimization. Now that I've said it, I'm going to explain it to you; Software optimization is a beautiful thing. Ask Apple, it makes their average hardware appear lightning fast. Sony can't really do it for shit in their software department, I'm going to excluding some of their game developers.

A PC is a multi-task machine that is supposed to run many different applications. Most of the software is not tailored made for one type of PC because everyone has their own set up with different components. Just think of it this way.
Think of all the games that look better on Nvidia cards compared to the AMD cards; then find out if Nvidia worked closely with the game developers to optimize the code for their hardware. I will bet a pretty penny that they did, Its gonna take a few years, and a much more powerful AMD card to run the same FPS and it still won't look as good as how an Nvidia card will perform.
Here is another example: PS2 emulation: It still hard to emulate some of the PS2 games on high end computers even though that is 10+ old tech. There is a community trying to optimize the code for PC so that we don't have a stutters or glitches here or there. but I still can't play a PS2 Saint Seiya game on my PC at 60FPS. ARGGGG!!!
