Ahh, the early stages of becoming a K-Pop Fan. Your son will soon be engrossed in it all.

Well, I am showing him that "orange caramel" video tomorrow. I am quite sure that he will like it. :)

Hm, I wonder if he'll like Girls' Generation. They are one of the most popular girl groups in Korea/Japan/The rest of Asia. They recently made their "Comeback."

No, he will not hear that. It makes my ears bleed, there is literally no way that I will be showing him that. :D

Orange Caramel? My daughter keeps playing that bloody song, Lipstick.

No, the artist is "Hyuna Kim", and he found her on "gangnam style"-video... which is was his favourite, but now he want's to see "Ice cream" or "bubble bop!". When you use a word like bloody, I am guessing that you are having the same feelings about that song as I am starting to have about my kids favourites. :D

I figured it was Hyuna.

How did you figure that out?

Outside of Korea, she's the most well known female K-Pop star because of the two Gangnam Style videos (especially the 2nd one)  To most, she's the only known female K-Pop star.  The only other one that it could have been is Girls Generation, but that's a group.

Ok. I really don't know anything about that kind of music, I thought that Psy was the famous one on that video... :P

Which South Korean musician is it?

Hyuna Kim or Kim Hyuna, I am not actually sure about which way that is supposed to be.

Looks like your kid has good taste. In korea the last name comes 1st so it's said Kim Hyuna.

Well, I know that. I was not sure what was her first/last name... and I know Kim is a surname in Korea, but it could also be a first name for all that I know. It happens to be a first name in Finland.

To many they all sound the same. (Even though I don't agree, Girls' Generation is my favorite. )

I'm sure your son will discover them sooner or later. Let him see if it makes his years bleed!

Nah, he does not. He is pretty bad at typing, even though he knows how to type "psy" on youtube. Girls generation would be a too big challange! :P

Have you seen the second video with Psy and Hyuna, or just the first one?  She has a much bigger role in the second video:

I have seen both, but now the second video is all that he want's to see. I really, really hate her voice on that "oppan gangnam style". It hurts.

They do have a shorter name; SNSD.

How did he discover all of this? Was it through Gangnam Style?

OT: I don't know if Hyuna/Cube Ent. (Her Label) would send your son a signed pic, though. If they did she would have to sign quite a bit every single day!

Gangnam style, he asked "what is the lady's name" and there it all started.

That could be, or it could be not. Even Elvis sent signed pictures sometimes. :P

Alright I might have a physical address soon, but for starters for signed pics, have you tried looking them up on Amazon, there are a lot of K-pop singed posters and stuff on there.
