That's the 'best' part of that game gameplay wise. If you take that out the game would actually suck for me ...the traversal was REALLY boring and the melee was well done but it was button smash galore and I found it to be rather boring and repetitive

For the first time, I totally agree with you.

The stealth segments were my favorite portions of the game and I loved finding out ways to surprise the enemy.

OP: Perhpas you were just not doing it right?  I always tried to stay incognito and kill them slowly and with patience.

I actually thought the core combat was incredibly boring and simplistic. On the other hand, I thought the stealth elements added something to the game.

:P first time for everything

and yep you need to keep moving as fast as you can and use the terrain to your advantage. I mean if they can't see you for a while they will stop being alert too and will start moving slow again. I jsut love staying above a soldier and doing a stealth take down and watch the others run to him from afar lol

I loved melee. Flowed beautifully, but also could be challenging without being cheap as fuck like the stealth segments.

The bosses, meanwhile, i found to be a little too easy

Ha ha, no offense but maybe you're just not really good at the game. =P

Seems like you just lack skill to me.

No you werent Mr. Khan. Its not about skill at all.
The problem is a stealth kill in batman is unrewarding. Even if you managed not to be spotted, all guards are alerted to your presence regardless, forcing you to go into hiding and repeating the painful time-consuming unrewarding process.
I love stealth games, but stealth gameplay in Batman is atrocious. It has great atmosphere, but that stealth gameplay, the overly complicated control layout and the VR missions made me sell the game before i finished it.

Yes, its a beautiful game, but its terribly overated. It needs alot of improvement in the gameplay department. Just cause it makes melee encounters well doesnt mean its a fun game to play.

Alas, i lack a capture card (couldn't even really use one anyway, laptop,) so i can't take video of what i'm doing wrong.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Assassin's Creed was so easy it was insulting.
