Pikmin 3. The game is the most natural and beatiful digital thing I have ever seen. Pure glory.



We need moar Zelda, now!

Mario Galaxy was a masterpiece, the best Nintendo game of the last 10 years easily IMO.

It's also the last Nintendo game where I really felt that "ooooomph" from EAD, like they were really flexing their muscles to show that they are still one of the best, if not the best developer on the planet.

Completely agree with Mario Galaxy being a masterpiece, and arguably the best from Nintendo over the past ten years. Although I think Wind Waker is right there with it. And Metroid Prime, although that might fall outside of the ten-year window.

But I disagree somewhat about Sunshine. Deciding to eschew the typical fire/ice/desert formula was a really unexpected and brave move by Nintendo -- something that should be applauded.

For me personally it will be either Zelda or a 3D plattforming game. Oh, I wish that 3D Plattformers were bigger this gen, many of them did not appeal to me. Galaxy did a fantastic job, but I'm waiting for the gen that can top gen 5-6 in that area. A Wario 3D plattformer would not be so bad, I enjoyed Wario World.

yeah really we already know the formula of first party titles they will release do you really want them to make those games follow a specific formula too?  Geez I guess some people just like routine.

Batman: Arkham City.

Exclusive? Pikmin 3 wows me jut by looking at the prettiness. And the trailers make it out to look rather difficult, which is even better. Lego City and The Wonderful 101 have huge WOW potential.

Good gams that probably wont wow. People are misuderstanding good from great.

Those three will most likely be good but the only one that has a chance to wow is Lego City in my opinion

Personally I think it'll be HD Zelda.  The first time I see Hyrule in stunning HD visuals (probably a unique style to it as well that will make it flourish) I just think I'm going to get a hankering for WiiU.  I have already seen Mario as stunning as I can imagine it in a full 3d game so while I'm sure that will come out first, I've actually grown quite bored with the series (bought Galaxy 2 and traded it in after finishing).  I'm not that excited for 3d Mario for some reason.  Maybe because I feel like he's already peaked.  Zelda however has a giant world and we've never seen Nintendo make a game that really shows it in full glory (SS looked great for a Wii game but the textures and jagged edges were simply awful).  The gamepad will also make navigation through all those items much easier and will be used in puzzle solving I'm sure so I'm excited to see how Ninty uses it other than for convenience.

It won't be Zelda, not this year.  The game is barely one year into development.  Much more likely to be a holiday 2014 release.
