That's unexpected.

I knew about the problems in the UK, but I didn't know their France stores were also doing bad.

And no wonder that they are out of stock! Just after Christmas (so with low stock) and at those prices, it was a no-brainer.

GAME stores have closed in Australia too. Seems like they're not traveling to well worldwide.

I bought a white Wii U on launch for $300AUD, i don't really think this means the Wii U is in trouble. It's just a cheap console. Been a while since a console launch was that cheap over here. Bought my Wii for $400 on launch for comparison.

I expect GAME spain to go out of bussines also soon ;)

I think this news is more about Game being in trouble and not about Wii U. Wii U is just an exapmple how cheap they sell some stuff now.

Guess I'll be using the internet to buy all my games from now on.

I'm afraid that Game in Spain is doing quite well, so if you want to buy a new console you'll have to do it at their regular price .

I don't know how many Wii U was in stock at game's shop but all the systems was sell for the first day of price cut ! We will see into the next Charts of france if there's an impact...
In my Game Shop (à little city near strasbourg, east of the france), 2 or 3 PS Vita and a few number of PSP was in stock this morning but no 3DS and XL, no Wii U, no Wii, No PS3 and 360.
