I agree that Nintendo will always be around, whether it's making hardware, software, or even phones.

And for this I am very glad.

Thanks . It is true Nintendo is like the Disney of Video games and no other company can claim that imo.


I agree no parent will ever buy an Xbox/Playstation gaming machine over Nintendo.

yes they will always be around that is why Miyamoto has been a consultant more often. Actually last gen he was more of a consultant to prepare young developers when he dies.

I think you nailed it with the generational thing, zero. It's not just nostalgia at play; older video game enthusiasts feel comfortable passing along their childhood games to younger generations.

I own almost every video game console made over the past five generations, but I've only ever gifted Nintendo consoles. To my kid sister, to my nephew and niece, and to my fiance. Nintendo just makes things that almost anyone can enjoy.
