First time I started reading, I got to the 5th book. Lotta things came up in life, didn't read it for a while, so restarted, and got to the 8th book I believe. Same thing happened, and I'm to the 6th book now. It was probably for the best anyways being that I am older and can understand what is going on a lot better now.

I've always loved Mat the most of the boys, and Nynaeve of the girls. Don't particularly have a favorite forsaken. Aviendha would be my favorite of Rand's women.

Heh. I just finished reading the final trilogy of books. Awesome awesome series and the ending was fantastic. My only gripes are that the epilogue seemed much too short and vague - I would have liked to know who was going where to settle and do what (trying to keep it spoiler free). I also have to admit a bit of disappointment over how the Seanchan issue was resolved (or not) as well as the fact that MC (and the author - Jordan) seemed happy about the damane even though they are enslaved.
