lol Microsoft and it's PR machine!!

This is NOT good news. Windows 8 is still not selling as well Vista was selling at the time and if you remember at the time, Vista wasn't selling that well at all. Compare this windows 7, which sold better than Vista, and you'll see what i mean.

This isn't really good or bad news. Microsoft would have sold roughly the same amount of Windows 7 licenses to manufacturers if Windows 8 hadn't been released. Does anyone really believe that the bulk of that wasn't OEM? Most direct upgrades have already occurred.



Now I wonder how many Windows 7 licenses were sold last Nov. to now? I'm going to look this up.

Yep. As long as MS has pretty much complete monopoly in OS market (so forever) they really can't fail with Windows launch not matter how shitty product they release (I am not saying that Windows 8 is shitty)
