By my predictions and from the sales of the past Pokemon games, they will be the first and maybe the only 10 million sellers for the 3DS!

I've been a long time Pokemon fan which means i'll have to go buy my cousin's 3DS so i can play Pokemon Y (I always go with the coolest looking mascot).

What do you think?

I don't think so. Pokémon is supposed to release in October and will need the entire holiday season to hit the 10m milestone. Here are three games that have a good shot to hit 10m by the end of 2013 as well:

Super Mario 3D Land - 8.03m
Mario Kart 7 - 7.46m
New Super Mario Bros. 2 - 5.17m

And at least one of them should get there before Pokémon. I think Mario Kart 7 will hit 10m first.

This also means that the 3DS will have at least four games that sell 10m copies. Animal Crossing is another one that could do it.

SM3DL AND MK7 will reach 10mil by December 2013 - PROBABLY NSMB2 and POKEMON at teh same tiem at some point early 2014.
