Forums - Gaming Discussion - How can Nintendo win you over at E3/2013?

wht ever innovations in gaming they are working on

Around the Network

Tease us with a small 10-15 second glimpse of metroid, Zelda, ssb, and maybe a few other in house games. However for me I want a more aggressive Nintendo. I want to hear them picking up distressed studios either to increase their first party exclusives. Aka thq and darksiders I think would be a nice pocket ace for them to develop on. There r a few others I would like to see. I would love to see a Nintendo world type mmo based around all the charcters and worlds sort of like KH3. Hey don't care if it's a knock off of square I want it.

A side note would be great to hear Nintendo use retro to create a sick gaming engine aka UE3 but deigned only for wii u, this way game studios have a nice starting zone to create nice graphics and AI but at an extremely cheap rate.

FYI I'm stoned and I know none of this will ever come to pass but I can dream cant I.

They could, but will they? Not a chance

Games?

I have been extremely pleased with my WiiU, so they don't need to do much. But I'll be very happy with one absolutely excellent title...say 3D Mario. From there give me at least one other good title, an exciting surprise and some 3rd party news...it doesn't matter if it's exclusive or not. If they want to blow me away with excitment, they could anounce a new F-Zero for Christmas, Monolith's game is near-ready, awesome and on it's way to the west soon. Announcing the next Final Fantasy is going to be on WiiU would also please me. But mostly I would like surprizes. If they were to announce 2 or 3 new IP's that look really cool... that would be amazing.

Things that are 100% certain to be on the show:

- Mario 3D for Wii U
- Zelda for 3DS
- Retro Studios secret games

So, Nintendo needs to show more than that, because SURPRISES are what wins the crowd.

Zelda for 3DS? 100%?! Have I missed something?! I don't doubt you but if this is true ill cry with happiness!!

I hope people know we won't see SSB, or Zelda at E3. Skyward Sword launched just a year-and-a-half ago. The new Zelda game will take longer than that to develop. Also Sakurai said that we won't see SSB any time soon. I wouldn't expect that for another 2-3 years. I also doubt we'll see Metroid, unless Retro's  making it (which rumors don't imply).

I doubt Zelda will be announced at this E3. It won't even get a full trailer.

We definately won't see Wii U Zelda, but I'm almost positive Zelda will be in attendance for the 3DS.  I don't expect Metroid, but I really want it. I do think we will see at least a short teaser of Smash Bros, but it won't release until 2014.

I absolutely love Metroid, but I kinda want to see them doing something new or original. We have to keep in mind that Retro has also been busy making an engine for the Wii U.
