Final Fantasy VIII.

Just started final fantasy 9...

Absolutely amazing! the art is beautiful, i have never seen a game hold up so well, especially a Playstation 1 game, and what impressed me the most was the music, OMG! incredible!

It honestly took me a while to get the hang of things, i mean 4 people battling at once was confusing and the game insists on the use of multiple characters, but that just make's this game more unique, and i have never played anything like it in my life

But honestly, the story between zidane and garnet caught me the most, i'm a sucker for love stories and i'm hoping this will end up like one :D

Might have to buy and start on final fantasy 8 after this one XD

oh boy.. so you're a sucker for love stores? I hope you have an empty pool near by for when you arrive at the end of disc one in FFVII.

FF9 is a good one to start with. After that go straight for 8 then X. In my opinion FF8 is the best but some people can get turned off by its uniqueness if new to JRPGS. BTW VIII and X have some good love stories lol.

X is not a PS1 classic.. and its not in the PSN store.

My advice is to start with either 8 or 7 next. I highly recommend you give these two a play, especially 7.

if you like love stories you will love ff8, it revolves mostly around that theme. i love it.

Obviously, he has already chosen what game his OP is about. So now I am giving him suggestions about Final Fantasy as a whole if he ends up likeing IX, since he has never played them before.

When i downloaded final fantasy ix and installed it, the game was installed but the game wanted to be installed again? so i installed it again and then it wanted to be installed again? so i deleted it.. did i do the right thing lol?

maybe it didnt download well the file, try redownloading.
