Forums - Gaming Discussion - Games you think deserved a sequel.

Alpha Protocol -

Would love to see a sequel, the first game wasn't very polished and the gameplay wasn't the greatest, but it was good fun and had some excellent twist and turns in the plotline, and for a standalone game it has excellent choice impact.

Kung Fu Chaos -

To this day is still great fun on the Original Xbox, very humorous and clever with some really fun levels and minigames.

Simpsons hit and Run-

Loved this game so much, for any simpsons fan it was a delight, so many references to the show and not only that but it was a really fun game too.

I would like to see Obsidian make another Fallout too.

Kung Fu Chaos was a great game to play! I remember inviting my friends around and playing that all day.

  1. Kororinpa for 3DS
  2. PangYa for Wii U, since the PC MMO (Albatross18 in NA) has advanced far enough to bring loads of new content

Why neither of these will happen:

  1. Hudson be dead, and Konami are far too Geography-teacher-level BORING to bring such wonders to us all.
  2. Rising Star Games took around eight months to publish the sequel in PAL regions, and sent it out to die WITH THE SAME NAME AS THE FIRST GAME IN NORTH AMERICA. Very little effort was made to build a fanbase. Good job, you fuckers.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

What games do you think deserved a sequel but never ended up happening? Even if the story had ended and there was no possible way of continuing it lol

I've always wanted a Legend of dragoon sequel aswell as a Rogue galaxy sequel.

The exact games I was going to suggest.

Hmm, I would add:

Planescape: Torment.  Something special about fighting off the forces of "evil?" with a floating skull, a succubus that has given up sex, a mage who is eternally onfire (and who did it himself) and a floating set of armor (amungst others!)

Suikoden 5 (yes a sequel itself, but dammit if 5 Suikoden games isnt enough!)

Eternal Sonata (story finished, but just image what they could do in a world in the mind of a madman like Mozart?)

Homeworld 2 (While it might be a sequel itself, like Suikoden 5, it needs a sequel)

Beyond Good and Evil.  Amazing game that needs its much rumored sequel to be true!

You can never have to many suikodens!! I've been itching for more since suikoden 5, Even played the ds suikoden which was set in a different world from the main series.

Xenogears, Legend of Dragoon, and Vanquish. Even though Xenosaga had 2 sequels, it was supposed to be a six game series. I'd love to see what the other games were supposed to be like.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Mirror's Edge- An original game that had a lot of unfulfilled potential.

Alpha Protocol- Most of the groundwork is in place. A couple of improvements could make a sequel truly AAA.

Planescape Torment- OK, so I haven't completed the game so I have no idea how it ends (or if a sequel would fit with the original). What I played through however was very good so a modern take on it would be great.

God Hand
Vanquish
Bulletstorm
Dead Head Fred
Jeanne D Arc
Parappa
