Not all porn on the Internet is clean fun. Some very nasty stuff out there.

What is the problem if it's between consenting adults? It's just a visceral reaction on your part.

Nonconsenting pornography is already blocked by all ISPs.

I would definitely want to protect my children from some of the stuff out there, probably forever.

Neither did I. I said and meant nonconsenting. Explain to me why the "sick", consenting behaviour you've described should be censored. I literally can't imagine what people could do with their bodies that is so bad they must be stopped from doing it.

Imagine the shame / embrassment when you find that you're a legal adult and, through error, have been blocked from viewing content. You just know you're either a) Going to have a phone and speak to someone, or b) ding it on your credit card (proof of age)

Both of these options are humiliating, and the credit card one can open up other risks.

Pornography is so much worse than violence. These politicians get it.
