Forums - Gaming Discussion - Me vs Mom: School shooting influenced by gaming

Violence is violence. It isn't the game's fault. It is more likely to be the person's fault. I'm not gonna get into it, but that's my take on it.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

why is it so fucking hard to ban guns?

The second amendment as Game Over 22 stated. Even if there wasn't the case, it would not solve the problem. It would only exacerbate things. Look up what prohibition did with alcohol. The cat is out of the bag, there are far too many guns in circulation for a ban on them to have any real effect.

"Guns don't kill people. People kill people."

If you can't hide a gun from your mentally disabled child then you are a bad parent.

/agree

Including a gun ban now wouldn´t make any sense, far too many guns in circulation. A ban would only help to push a possible fault from the guys who failed to recognize a mental illness to someone else.

when was the last time someone got kill by a video game??

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

I´m pretty sure someone from South Korea died from exhaustion after playing Starcraft II for 3 days without pausing in November. To be honest, happens all 3-4 months.

EDIT: Can´t find it right now, so lets take this case of a south korean who played Diablo III for 40hrs straight, it is from July 2012
