I remember him saying something about his son wanting snake to be in the game. And also, maybe because smash is one of the bigest game in the world? Brawl sold 10milion. Do you have any idea of how much advertising having snake in a 10milion sellers is for MGS? He said it himself that he wanted snake in the game to make him known to a new audience. If the guy would have known about PSABR there is no doubt in my mind that he would have wanted snake to be in PSABR instead (at the very least if he had the impression that it could sell as much as Brawl)

@animegaming No I am not trolling. When was the last time Kojima developed a original game that would even appear on a nintendo console? I think it was Twin Snake on the GC. But we hear him say statements from him all the time such as ''this nintendo console is interesting, but if I would make a game for it, it would have to be unique and take advantages of it's unique feature''... Translation: Not gonna happen. Meaning we are not getting MG:Rising, we are not getting MGS:GZ because of that bullshit excuse that they are not made from the ground up to take advantage of the WiiU's feature. And in today's world where 3rd party devs rarely see a reason to justify going exclusive over multiplat, I don't see Konami or Kojima bothering making a game from the ground up for WiiU, meaning that I expect absolutly nothing new from them nextgen on nintendo consoles.

I love Kojima, I really do. He's easily a top 5 game creator of all time. But I gotta stick up for Miyamoto, who is the number one game creator of all time.

Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, F-Zero, Pikmin, etc. It's tough to beat that line-up.

Moreover, I'd imagine Kojima would consider Miyamoto to be the greatest also. He raves about Super Mario Bros. at every opportunity, and he credits Miyamoto's creation as one of the main reasons he entered the video game industry.

no doubt miyamoto had his huge influence on the indusrty, you can say he literally saved it back in 83. but kojima is just a super genius!! honestly nobody can hold a candle to that guy! did you see the phantom pain and ground zero trailers?

He is a genius, no doubt about that. He's also one of more complex people in the industry. He is capable of so much beauty in his games, yet he hesitates to call them art.
