Seems those 2 rumours are bit contradictory - the 2nd puts NextBox GPU at some 15x of 360.

If people really like what they see with the NeXtBox and it has a strong and impressive launch lineup, I think that Sony will have their work cut out for them if they do indeed launch in 2014. Certainly I'm not saying they'll be destined to do poorly, but it could prove hard for them to find their footing in a market with the affordable Nintendo machine (which could possibly have a 20m install base by then) and the U.S. powerhouse from Microsoft, which can easily afford to take a loss if necessary.

FUCK this 2014 sh!t. i hope Sony can pull through this "confidence" sh!t and release it in 2013.

I'm glad that he basically said that PS4 and 720 are on par with each other for the most part. The other rumor made it seem like PS4 was going to be some weak bullshit ass console compared to 720.

it's 1 thing for both 2 release in 2013 with 720 being a bit more powerful but if PS4 gets pushed back to 2014 then they might aswell just beef PS4 up a bit more then

I'm calling BS on the whole Xbox being as powerfull as the second best pc on the market.  They must be talking about mass produced pc's which are never that impressive. Custom PC's are where the power tends to be at.

Well if they bring a good launch lineup with a solid future library then it should be fine.  I know a lot of people blame the year late but they actually had a great launch.  The issue was they didnt have a good library for the first few years.  I will say the year headstart helped MSFT get noticed though but a lot of that had to do with gears, halo, and a weak library at PS3's launch with a high price.  If Sony prices the PS4 right with a good library then they will be fine.  I wish all of three companies luck but the time between each release shouldnt effect any of them unless they screw up some how. 

EDIT:  I shouldnt say any time.  They need to keep the release close to the NeXbox but they dont need to panic either is what I mean.  They need to just focus on profits for sony at the moment rather than taking a risk on the PS4

yeah, that thing is stupid, I don't know what they mean by "second best" but my PC is about 15X more powerful than a 360 in pure FLOPs alone on top of other enhancements and I can safely say that I'm definitely not even close to "second best" since the best I've seen is at least 45X more powerful than a 360 and that'd put second best hell of a lot higher than 8X rofl.

The best time of any generation is hearing rumours about the next set of systems always
