It makes 0 sense to me that peoples GOTY and Console GOTY are 2 different games. If your GOTY is on both consoles then it should be under both categories.

I did that in another category... I choose Halo 4 GOTY for 360 but I choose Borderlands 2 for best shooters.

For me the Halo 4 is the best choice for 360 and any 360 will agree with me but overall the Borderlands 2 is a better shooter... the Halo 4 choice is more because the identification of the game with the console.

I think this counts so I can choose a overall GOTY but choose another for consoles because a exclusive game makes more sense for example.

Yours makes sense because Your GOTY is Journey which is also your PS3 GOTY. But I saw someone say Journey is PS3 GOTY but AC3 is overall GOTY which makes no sense to me because it is out for the PS3 therefor that should be their PS3 GOTY
