It's certainly difficult to find them (but not impossible) so they've sold most of their shipment.

It sounds like there is not enough supply for the premium bundles and not enough demand for the basic package. Pretty much the situation Nintendo avoided with the Wii launch by only manufacturing one model.

But there's hardly any Vita fans in here, and the ones that are (me; mikerox) aren't gloating about anything. Unless you counted Turkish and Ryzuki among 'Vita fans' (which would be a push).
Honestly, I wish people would lay off Vita on these forums but picking fights (by jumping to premature assumptions, I'd add) with fans of other consoles isn't going to solve that issue, just make it worse.

@ fanboy don't get ahead of yourself there buddy. The sales are higher then wii u right now but how many rushed to buy it after that? 10 weeks and 100,000 units. Chances are it will beat 100,000 in no time depending on when the next shipments are planned.
