It drowned in the November AAA releases.

October might have been better for it. Sad to see exclusives sent out to die.

I somehow really liked the Idea of Little Big Planet... But after getting the Platinum Trophy in both LBPs I will probably never buy a LBP game again. The total Focus on the Editor and the Pay/Creats/Share ruined it for me. I just do not want to create and share... I prefer to just play the game. I feel that I am done with this franchise...

The PS3 has Modnation Racers and Twisted Metal (going against the less racer and more vehicular combat games in LBPK). Do you think having a second Karting title for the PS3 would of made a difference?

So what your saying is that Sony has no idea how to schedule releasing their IPs?

I wonder about you haha I played the beta and it was rather bad.  The problem it had was it felt floaty like in LBP for starters.  The second issue is the karts felt super slow.  Third was the items were really weird and out of control People got the stupid glove non stop in it.  Then it was a comlete lag fest which is understandable since it was a beta buit over all was a very eh game.  It wasnt horrible but it wasnt good either.  Just my opinion but I think ModNation Racers was much much better.  I love that game.

P.S. My prediction was right about its metacritic.  Next is PSABR :P

I agree. I haven't played LBP Karting at all but from the looks of it, it doesn't look like a good Kart racer. Not too fond of the original LBP games either...

I did however play the Modnation Racers demo. It was amazing. I don't know why I didn't buy it. 


I doubt if the game is still active online but it was good when it first came out.  Peoples biggest complaints were load times and the AI which neither one bothered me.  I was expecting a lot since the same people are making LBPK (United Front)

Both these issues were fixed a LONG time ago with patching. the load time like less than a month after it released, just people never really gave it a chance again, which i kinda dont blame them. As for LBPK from what ive read its actually a worst game than MNR which is unacceptable, i personally rather get that new Sonic all stars as least that improved.
