Well that's a good sign. >_>

Not that I'm defending his criticism of the single-player campaign (I believe he said it was 42 minutes), because I haven't played it.

But the "other mode" is hostiles, a wave-based mode where you survive for as long as you can against increasingly bigger waves.  There are six maps for it.  That means he would have to have gotten himself killed in less than a minute then moved onto the next map.

Given how the modes go on indefinitely (or at least longer than 1 wave) and the whole point is to rack up the biggest score you can, that's certainly quite a feat.  It would be like saying zombies mode in Black Ops is 1 minute long because you walk straight up to the first zombie that spawns, let him kill you, then say you've "finished" the mode and the total play-time for it is 1 minute.

Doesnt take long for the mindless sheep vita haters to appear. Game actually is looking better then anyone expected from user reviews so far.

Metacritic user reviews.... Awesome!

Who said metacritic? Not me, talking to peeps on the PS3 forum and various other ones, most said the game was going to suck, most have been pleasantly surprised it's a lot better then they expected.

I can see you're new. See inside the Vita thread and a few good threads Vita games are judged objectivly. Out here in "da real world" Vita games are instantly labled as trash. Just ignore people that obviously aren't educated about the game.

@OP

This game isn't going to be front loaded like BLOPS 2 with the "hardcore" COD player. Instead it appeals to the casual gamer that thinks COD is what the cool kids play. If the review comes out a few days later (good or bad) it doesn't greatly affect sales.

42mins
vita getting the casual covered,it's all good

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

"Well, I just beat Black Ops: Declassified's main story mode (if you can call it that) in 42 minutes."

"The main single player mode is ten missions that don't have checkpoints, and almost all of them are under five minutes long. "

"Just beat the other mode in barely over five minutes. Black Ops: Declassified has less than an hour of single player content in total. "

"Hmm...apparently there's a horde mode of sorts. That could add a bit, but I have no idea why someone would want to spend more time with this "

Well, GameInfomer score is settled already

42 minutes of campaign... insane lol

Reviews will hit hard this one

Because one guy on twitter said so?

42 mins of campaign is laughably bad. Then again, it is still probably better than what could have been expected from the devs who made it. Hopefully they keep improving like this if this is an improvement.

Except that after that tweet about the "other mode," he posted this:

So I'm guessing the first "other mode" he mentioned was something else, and that hostiles is just bad.

"Associate Editor at Game Informer." Can't answer your second question though, sorry.
