True, but the PS3's and 360's first party games fall far short of the Wii's, so  it kinda balances out.

I wouldn't call it "fantastic"... It does have 3rd party games. The vast majority of them fail to shine, but i guess if they're to your taste they don't have to be amazing, Like I enjoyed FFXIII-2 despite it being 6/10 quality wise, but then again I bought it for only £10! :D

If you were to cut this list down to games actually worth their initial retail price, there would probably be like 12 left. Titles like deadly creatures would definitely not make the cut lol

I still want to give Red Steel 2 a try.

Xenoblade Chronicles is the only fantastic third party Wii game in my opinion. Couldn't care less for the rest. Thankfully the Wii has many excellent first party games.

Hmm, I think the problem is that this list does not contain some of these Games (Although I do not like them all):

Final Fantasy XIII - Sucks
Final Fantasy XIII-2 - Sucks
Resident Evil 5 - Sucks
Resident Evil 6 - Sucks
Devil May Cry 4 - Sucks
Metal Gear Solid 4 - Great
Assassin's Creed - Sucks
GTA 4 - Great
Red Dead Redemption - Better on 360
Dead Space - Sucks
Mass Effect - Better on 360
Elder Scrolls - Both better on 360
Dragon Age - Sucks
Batman - Both are great
Bioshock - Better on 360
Borderlands - Sucks
Demon's Souls - Sucks

Honestly, the Wii's 3rd Party is very weak compared to the PS3 and the X360. It is partly a fault of Nintendo, since most of the Games just couldn't be ported to the Wii due to technical limitation and due to Nintendos Control scheme. And since the Wii could not transform the install base into proper sales figures for most developpers the Wii never saw a good support. Some Games even got a version for PS3/360 and one for Wii/PS2/PSP Version... Somehow the Wii felt like its own Generation and it is very telling that games like Just Dance or Carnival games, etc are among the Games with the highest Sales on the Wii.

I really wonder how the Wii U will do. Will the Wii Crowd upgrade to the Wii U or will they have lost interest in gaming... This will be a very interesting christmas season.

Lets not drag the Wii down now.

Sure, Wii may have only one excellent third party game but with the exception of the two great Batman games and GTA 4, every single fantastic non-exclusive PS3 game is better on Xbox 360.

First party games and exclusive games are not the same thing. If we're talking about fantastic exclusives (90%+ on GameRankings and/or Metacritic and 9.0+ Game Spot user score), all three consoles are equal:

Wii

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Skyward Sword
Xenoblade Chronicles
Metroid Prime 3

PS3

LittleBigPlanet
LittleBigPlanet 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
God of War 3
Uncharted 2
Uncharted 3

Xbox 360
Gears of War
Gears of War 2
Gears of War 3
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Forza Motorsport 3

Go ahead and dispute me. :)

no it doesnt, that makes no sense since ANY system's 3rd party games are going to be much more numerous than their first party ones. IMHO it makes Wii look even worst, since they seem to only fall back on first party titles which their are not that much off(especially in the last two years), but this is about third party anyway.
