well i expect a 2013 uncharted game for vita, but i dont understand why they would change the developer, sony bend seem like the right people for the job, they took 2 years to make uncharted GA, and it seems logical that they would make another one for the vita in 2 years time, meaning xmas 2013

I genuinely hope Sony Bend are working on something else.  I'm sure Golden Abyss is good and they could do an even better job with the sequel, but we have an Uncharted for Vita.  It did its job for them during the launch.  Time to get another Sony IP on the system.  Infamous, God of War or maybe even Syphon Filter (I wish!).  Bend seem the best studio to do this internally, since Cambridge is busy with Killzone.

comabridge with killzone? Guerrilla games are making killzone mercernary.

Studio Cambridge is Guerrilla Games:

"Meanwhile, Sony’s Cambridge division is to be restructured. The studio is to partner with Netherlands outfit Guerilla Games, likely in a downsized capacity, to build Killzone games for PlayStation Vita."

I am 99% certain it is Cambridge developing it.  The main Guerrilla studio is making Killzone 4 and a new IP.  I doubt they have time for Killzone: Mercenary as well.

well they are one team now. I'm sure the main talent is the cambridge peeps but GG must be involved to a good degree as well. I even read that Cambridge helped a great deal with the KZ games this gen. Especially on the technical side of things

Ok. Now heres the thing I noticed with all the comments. Nobody is crying out that this is "milking" the franchise.

Because if this happened to be Halo im sure there would be a uproar.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Well there is you.

I don't think Halo is being milked.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Im saying "IF" MS made a Halo social game on their tablet/smartphone, there would be an uproar on how the franchise is being milked.

I am surpirsed that I.......me......am the first to say that the Uncharted series deserves better.

First, you shouldn't make claim or attempt to declare evidence for something that hasn't happened yet. Justifying pre-emptive actions based on the perception of future actions isn't cool dude.

Second, it already did happen Halo: Waypoint for iOS/Android but I don't recall a big fuss about milking the Halo franchise. There could have been though. Regardless, if so a few outliers isn't everybody. Unless the reaction is far spread no one should get bent out of shape.

Unfortunately, just cheesy (and salty!) advertising tie-ins instead:

Lets wait and see what this Uncharted thing turns out to be first, eh.
