"3DS drastically cut the system's price just three months after launch to help slower-than-expected sales. "

no, just no
get the facts before posting shitty articles...not you Ryan ;)

I am confused, why did they cut the price then?

They are tender, cuddly, fluffy bronies and they love everybody, this is why.

Edit: yeah, I know, you want a proof, here is a photo of Miyamoto at a brony convention

sweet jesus...is that a dude or a boy faced girl?  Please tell me b> not a>.  For my sanity...just lie and tell me it's b> even if its a>

I can't lie, and mind you, I've no definitive proof, but, for example, the little I can guess from a side view, and through that hideous pink unitard, of waist and hips shape makes me really fear that's a dude.

A dude wearing a unitard is a total party foul.  IF that is a guy, he should be escorted to the local mental hospital for a manditory 72 hour evaluation.  Worst of all, it looks like he's flitting about collecting flower pollen or something.

I'm going to start a "Dudes Against Dudes Wearing Unitards While They Flit About Collecting Pollen"(DADWUWTFAC) organization.  Anybody else interested in joining?  This sort of thing needs to stop right here.

Yes, something must be done about such abominations!!!  BTW his totally unamused expression makes him even creepier.
Although he also somehow reminds me slightly of Sheldon Cooper.

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")

They did the right decision, I guess. But making such a pricy controller like the GamePad seems wrong. You know, they could've made it less complex and invested a little more on power and online structure.

That would be a huge mistake.

Here is in rough terms how you want to make a product for it to be sucessful: You make a product that position itself in a different way than your direct competitiors "isolating"yourself in a segment.

This is what Nintendo does right and SEGA/Sony dont, but Microsoft started to learn aswell.

Why does it work like this? Because if your system offers something completely different from everyone else, consumers will want it for that exclusive feature, because its unique.

If Nintendo just bet on online and power, they would be no different than Sony and Microsoft and you, as consumer would have little reason to buy a Nintendo console (besides some nintendo games). This is what actually went wrong with the gamecube. Nintendo learned and are now an example of sucess to follow.
