I don't give a fuck about where the mic jack is or that you need to buy a headset instead of using the built in mic, therefor this article is useless for me and it's grasping at straws anyway to be perfectly honest. What I give a fuck about is that I am not able to talk to my friends while playing NSMBU or ZombiU while they play something else.

You should be more bummed out about the fact that you're not even able to play those games with your friends online, because Nintendo refuses to include what is now a standard feature in 95% of games that feature some sort of multiplayer component into their own titles.  ZombiU is only featuring local MP because of time constraints, but there is absolutely no reason why simple games like Nintendo Land and NSMBU do not have an online multiplayer compontent.

This is actually not very important for me since I like to play by myself and at my own pace. I also think that playing Mario online would feel awkward. It's a couch experience.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Well, there are millions of other gamers who would at least like the option.  Of the big 3, only one doesn't regularly give their fans that option.  If you're going to recapture the core market, online multiplayer is a must, not just for the COD type games.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

How about no.

My response: 'How about NO.'

If you are still having difficulty understanding...: How about NO - It does not benefit gamers.

Why not? The article offers some good points, all you've offered up to now is indistinguishable from trolling.

Nope it's clearly indistinguishable from an OPINION. OH SNAP I SAID IT. Add it to your vocabulary bro.

I'll reiterate my puzzlement about why people care that much about talking while they're playing unrelated games. Makes no sense to me.

If you want to stop and talk to a friend, you can. If you want to talk to people in-game, you can. If you want to get sucked out of the gaming experience with chatter... uh...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
