I do have a Vita and play it a lot.
In addition to the games you mentioned, look into Sound Shapes, the game is very cool.
you have Tearaway coming too, which looks like a lot of fun

I know you can quote some boiler plate crap about "well if the financial gains don't outweigh the marketing ... blah blah.."
The PSVita exists to acquire the PS3'-esque games which continue to be developed years from now. I expect Sony to re-shape their dev landscape to accommodate these games long after the PS4 launches... and after the PS3 goes away it will be the Vita and the PS4.

If not, what are we talking about exactly.. only having Vita games from the ever expanding landscape of Sony exclusive devs.. and all PSN games! Cross System play, free vita games included in cross play titles? Yes please!
Seriously, its Sony, look at the Gaikai purchase- they clearly are not in such dire straits, especially not in the video game space as people seem to .. hope.

My point is, it could be selling 500 Units a month and there would still be 0 chance of dropping the system. People always get hung up on how the public is the demand and when its gone.. its gone. Wrong!
As it has been proven many times this generation- people don't even have to want a system to buy it.
Drop the price, launch 1 killer game, and slap it on the side of a mountain Dew can.

Manufacturers are in control of how much they want to sell- if Sony wanted the Vita to sell more right now- then guess what? The Vita would be selling more right now.

Sony knows they are in 2nd and clearly they are fine with that.

Depends, it has some good exclusives but future looks pretty barren in my opinion.
And with them saying there's going to be a price cut next year i would just wait.
You could go to the vita thread, good for the info of the system, but just like doom threads it's tainted with the bias.
The goodthing about the vita is that is getting a lot of localized games, but not of the gretaest quality in my opinion.
Look at the games coming up, watch the gameplay, see the dates and make an opionon of yours if it is worth it right now. If you know some japanese you will enjoy it more.

Buy it in a heart beat, You won't be sorry. There is some 24 games still to come out for the rest of this year. Games you should check out.

wtf, why so much hate for the PS Vita, i had the original PSP, i dont play it anymore but my mom still does..surprisingly, she's like 60, she plays all the puzzle games on it.

I just need something more sophisticated than my iphone to kill time on the fly; i actually think PS Vita has better software than 3DS, i was just looking thru the list before posting.

I didn't know the AC bundle came with a Memory stick, i need to do a bit more research before i plunge down it looks like. and I don't have PS+ but i have a pS3 (last time i played it was several months ago, still stuck at the last bit of Mass Effect 2): I am not sure what the buzz is about, i find it to be a rather mediocre game, not as good as a real shooter and limited option to be even called an RPG...and story not that good, just gather a bunch of ppl, do some +/- side quest; really linear game IMO eventhough they try to cover it up to allow u to "go places". Anyways, that's off topic.

Because there's people out there that want nothing better than to see something fall. They wont be happy till they see something burn, First it was Xbox, then ps3 and then 3DS and now the vita. UP next, WiiU! DOOMED video games are DOOMED!

There's also people that just look at things i a more realisitcally and dont just belive thigs will get better without any signals that it will.

Where were the singles in the first year of ps3 life? I'll answer that for you, there where none. Now it's the top selling console world wide. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there.
