The studio that brought you the first threeHalo's has been relatively quite in their gaming releases as of late, but everyone in the industry knows they are cooking up something big for their highly rumored, upcoming game Destiny.
According to a report from GameSpot today, the former Halo developer has hired former Rockstar Games senior game designer Danny Bulla, who worked on Red Dead Redemption, to help work on the sandbox engine for Bungie.
Bungie issued a statement talking about how much Danny's work on Red Dead impressed them to the point that they wanted him to work on their next piece.
"We liked Red Dead Redemption so much that we hired Danny Bulla to come here and help us fill your next sandbox.
"He’s doing some amazing work and, so far, he hasn’t tried to lash any of us to a pair of railroad tracks," Bungie said.
Bulla was an instrumental member of the Red Dead Redemption development team that helped produced a title worthy of Game of the Year honors.
The game Destiny, which is rumored to be released sometime during the next year, was mentioned in the Microsoft documents that were leaked back toward the beginning of the summer, and it was noted that it would be released for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox 720.
It's not impossible to think this game could debut on Microsoft's next console especially since the first installment of their last, great franchise, Halo, was released when the original Xbox debuted back in 2001.
