Around the Network

As a conference a 6/10 they put way to much time on Nintendoland and TV.
As overall announcements from all 3 I give it a solid 8.5/10

Former something....

Sooooo goood :) I'm glad they waited until September to release this info. If it would of done so at E3, their competitors would of taken a couple of its ideas, wrap it up and put their logo on it.

Not bundling in the cheapest model is a huge mistake.
TVii will be pointless in Europe
Specs and ports seem OK, controller works well
CoD and MH are good pickups but not system sellers, launch lineup looks thin otherwise

The console will really hinge on NSMB U exciting people more than NSMB 2 did.

Personally, I rated it about a 6.

I was never likely to buy a Wii-U at launch. The one thing that was tempting me was Pikmin 3, which it now seems has been delayed to 2013, and there wasn't even a hint of it mentioned in the conference. Big minus.

The Nintendo TV thing also lasted much, much too long.

There were some positives though. Bayonetta 2 was a nice surprise, Project P-100 (or whatever it's called now) actually looked rather nice and NSMBU looked better than I've thought so far.

Overall, it was slightly above average. Still nothing to make me personally buy the system. But I am glad that it seems to have pleased most of the Nintendo fans!

as a gamer im pleased by the hw a lot! but the sw doesnt really make me freak out, hopefully in a year or so we will get some really big hitters
sales wise, i dont see it doing Wii levels, but it should do definately better than the N64 and the GC lol

I rate it with a 10. Nintendo is back people.

Bayonetta 2 and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate were enough to give it a 10!

Nintendo and PC gamer

Coming from someone who works in gaming retail I have this to say.....

Nintendo is doing a pretty damn impressive job of finding a nice balance between Casual and Core gaming. As long as they advertise right Wii U is going to have an amazing holiday

10

They showed off so many games, Monster Hunter and Bayonetta announcements were amazing. Mario and Rayman and Zombie U are launch games. Nintendo Land is packed in.
Plus the amazingly cheap prices in UK:
- £200-£210 for basic
- £250 for premium

What more can I ask for?
