I'm trying to get to the facts, regardless of the outcome.  So just because I'm defending the information that makes the Wii U seem less powerful, it doesn't mean that I'm anti-Nintendo or anything like that.  Why do you think Wii U is so easily backward compatible?  Enhanced Broadway architecture is the most obvious answer, which is codenamed Espresso... Project Cafe ring any bells?  When you put all the information together, it makes the most sense.

Means nothing, especially when the article ends by stating that "the WiiU is capable of much better graphics" than the HDtwins. The #1 in the list is still not confirmed.

I agree, this full backward compatibility can be possible because WiiU uses the same architecture as GC/Wii, it is a strong indication that WiiU uses a more powerful version of Broadway processor.

The PowerPC and POWER architectures are completely different chips but the instruction sets are remarkably similar and with only a (relatively) small performance hit it should be possible to achieve nearly perfect emulation of the Wii's CPU using emulation or instruction translation.

If you read through the documentation you will see that the chips are vastly different, and no one at IBM would confuse a PowerPC processor for a chip within the Power family, but that doesn't mean that the Wii U needs a PowerPC chip to emulate the Wii.

Since Nintendo's focus is on low power & form factor, I decided to look at this AMD GPU comparison chart

Now, as I peruse through the interwebs for Wii U infos, I have noticed that NO ONE has seriously discussed MOBILE gpu as an option for Wii U.  Why is that? Look at this card for example, seems tailor made for Wii U esp. if they customize it further:

Lots of people freaking out thinking Wii U will be weak b/c of Iwata saying the system is 75 W power consumption, but its still possible to have decent specs.

Dreamcast was much more powerful than N64 and PS.
Then PS2 came along. Then GameCube came along. Then XBOX came along.

What I mean is that, the U may seem really powerful (for some people) right now, but nobody knows what's in store for the other companies.
I'm a little on the fence about the U's power, but being totally honest, I can't really say at this point. It will be interesting to see the console's actual performance on multi-platform tittles from the PS3/360 era, and then the PS4/720 era.

Only time will tell how good the performance of the system is.

The shape is just anti-Nintendo, just as much as I don't favor Sony. Most of his post about Nintendo hovers around being trollish. Trust me, it takes one to know one.

I've owned far more Nintendo consoles (every single one so far) than I have any other company's.  It's very easy to dismiss someone else's opinion you don't agree with rather than putting effort into creating an argument of your own.  If you think I'm wrong, tell me why, rather than sitting back and tossing around innacurate accusations.  I've stated on several occasions that I hope the Wii U is more powerful than I think.  But I will never dismiss the most rational, consistent, and credible pieces of information that comes out.  Grow up, and learn how to communicate.
