I game on LCD HDTVs and only notice lag during guitar hero, but calibrating in the game came make it a lot better

I believe the lag issue with consoles was only with DLP TV's so if you get an LCD or Plasma you'll be fine. On the other hand you really shouldnt waste money on a HDTV if its for the Wii, it'll just make you realize how crappy the hames look.

Well I currently game on my PC's 21'' Widescreen LCD Monitor. I just want something bigger.

look into Samsung F8 series. They have the 100Mhz motion crap (basically interpolation of frames) to make things look smoother and no ghosting.

I seen one in action they are great.
