Me and my girlfriend are planning to play FF14, but I have a few questions. (We never played a MMO) Maybe you can help me? :)

We want to play as a team of 2. One playing at the Ps3, one at the PC. As far as I know it's possible to play together on the same server, right?
Are the story missions single player, or will we be able to play them together?

yes you can play together on any device as long as it's the same server. Some quests wont allow you two to play as a party and you'll have to do them solo.

And if I buy the game, do I get the new areas / bosses etc. for free, or do I have to buy some kind of DLC? Sorry for that question, but I'm absolute new at this gerne.

there's no dlc whatsoever in this kind of game, it's all added through free patches you just pay the monthly subscription

Hi Athaba, glad you're interested in FFXIV, its an awesome game. in addition to what Rutea7 said, when you buy the game you'll get 30 days free. The monthly subscription fee pays for all the patches/updates which downloads automatically when you start up the game. (New content is added every 3 months for free along with small updates inbetween)
