Daily deals are ... daily. Other regular price discounts tend to last a long time. I've never seen a discounted game become un-discounted.

You'll notice Amazon randomly slashes prices of games due to their price-matching service. If Toys R Us or some other store (Best Buy, etc) has a discounted price, Amazon will match that price. These deals MIGHT not last forever - I've never checked.

That ICO Collection game is only sold via third parties, not Amazon itself. I don't know what Amazon's own pricing is, but 19.99 for a new copy seems very nice. I've never had issues ordering from third parties on Amazon.

FF13-2 has been at that low price for a while now. I don't think it'll bump back up; but if you're interested in these games, why not just purchase them now?

Yeah I've been buying my games off of Amazon lately, the stores (best buy and Fry's Electronics) have been selling both games for 39.96 for awhile (well FFXIII-2 since Ico collection came out as 39.96).

Nah, amazon is just THAT awesome. Ever since I found them a few years ago, I've only been buying games from them. They sometimes have pre-order incentives for high profile games too! The last one I can think of was for Halo Anniversary Edition. I got a $10 or $20 dollar Amazon giftcard for pre-ordering the game from Amazon. These giftcard deals are very common. Amazon rocks.

Just checked through some pre-release games. Amazon is one of those special kinds of places where you might spend a lot of money in a short amount of time. However, you might want to keep track of other online deals. Cheapassgamer is where people post all kinds of deals, so definitely bookmark that site. I usually visit it at least once a day, usually in the morning EST, which seems to be when a lot of deals go live.

The only reason I say this, is because Amazon doesn't do a pricematch on every single deal out there.

No I havent, but always wanted to back in the older generation, never got the chance cause the game quickly became rare.


I was in the same position, never even owned a PS2.  You're in for a treat  I'll say no more...
