Two LinkedIn profiles of former EA software developers reveals that Bad Company 3 and Mirrors Edge 2 are in the design/develope stages. Although

both devs have deleted the information from their profiles since it was posted at gamerzines, both of them stated that they had worked on Mirrors Edge 2, and one had worked on the initial stages of Bad Company 3.

Don't look forward to seeing these titles at E3 this year, but it seems like we can expect to see some news regarding them at the beginning of next year.

Wouldn't surprise me, Mirrors Edge 2 is likely a reward for BF3's success.

If Respawn's new game is holiday 2013 then Bad Company 3 could be a next gen title in 2014. I am not sure if EA would want both games in one year, and it gives them extra time to tune BC3 for next gen hardware.

It's been removed apparently, and I've created a linkedin account and everything. Dammit kyliedog.

Why do professional devs keep posting such info?

Well if they're looking for a job, an extensive list of projects that you've worked on can be impressive. Sometimes that ends up giving out the projects that haven't been announced yet, as is in this case

Why even hide your making something.

cool,I can't wait for these to come out.

Because if fans know for that something is in development then they will demand updates frequnetly, and if something isn´t going as planned then the developers wont have any news and the fans will become unapatient. Just look whats happening with Half Life 3 everybody wants new updates, screenshots a trailer, but they cant give you what they dont have.

Knaw the half lifes comparisons not the same they havent even announced it have they. If they say we have mirrors edge 2 and we dont knw when were releasing it but were working on it thats good enough.
