I need a replacement for both of these accesories for my iPod:

The thing is, they are horribly expensive, and they are found in Amazon for $2-$10 top.

Now, I'm scared of buying the Amazon ones, because the reviews say some are good, some are horrible, but the price is much more tempting. Anyone can link me to some good and reliable cables and adaptors?

Just look for something with four stars or so and it'll probably do the trick. These look good enough:

I'd agree on this, but I'm going to be on the U.S.A for a very limited time, and I don't have too much money to spare.

hmm never noticed you are from ecuador... then just get them from ebay.. those chinese merchants send their stuff worldwide..

I'm traveling to the U.S.A next month, that's why I'm buying it from Amazon.

then you have to just make sure that the wall adapter is compatible with Ecuador's electricity.. 120/220/240 volt.. 50 or 60Hz?? getting the wrong one will blow it up...

This is a pretty important point. We have so many effective worldwide tech standards these days, it's easy to forget that electrical grids differ all over the world.

Belkin make decent stuff. If you're planning on buying more than one, I think you should buy two different models, rather than multiples of the same one. That way if one of them turns out to have some kind of flaw (such as disagreeing with the Ecuadoran power grid), hopefully the other one won't.
