Halo: Reach FW in USA: 2,399,908 (147.3%)

Prototype 2 looks a bit undertracked to me, especially on the 360.

We had a massive push for the game the last two weeks and saw a pretty good bump in pre-orders. By no means will the game be massive or anything but should do at least 200k opening week on 360 alone.

Also Halo 4 should see a little lift over the coming month due to the big reveal of info in the Game Informer article and OXM magazine articles.

GW2 on the chart, hopefully it'll become a big hit, we need a new MMO king!

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

I hope so, the first game wasn't stellar or anything but I still found it an enjoyable experience, and I've definitely been worried about the pre-order numbers this has been doing, I don't expect the game to be extremely great or sell like cupcakes but it should do at least decent numbers.

Not too sure about the Starhawk numbers either, I don't expect it too be terribly big but they just seem low.

@ Millenium

No Starhawk numbers are right, that game is gonna be a huge flop. Pre-orders for it are horrible.

Well that's a bummer, I'm not going to lie and pretend I've ever had any intention of purchasing the game because my personal excitement for it is non-exsistant, but I didn't expect it to flop.

More suprising because it's a exclusive even.

Starhawk numbers are depressing. The beta was amazing but sadly on yet another occasion Sony don't market it or build hype. Going to be another great game that will go by virtually unnoticed and unappreciated.

@ Millenium

Not really surprising to see an exclusive not due strong numbers. Especially not so much on the PS3.

Sure PS3 has tons have exclusives but they all mostly sell mid-range or lower. They actually do too many 1st party exclusives so they don't have the money to actually push these franchises with strong advertising and such. Sony themselves have even said this is a problem.

They need to focus more on a few big name in house exclusives and try to turn them into mega franchises like Halo and Gears. They have Uncharted right now which is doing pretty successful but if you look at most of the other 1st party stuff in terms of sales they aren't massive franchises. Starhawk is simply being swallowed up in everything else at least currently.

Actually, there hasn't been many exclusives released recently.
