There actually is one game on the horizon that could be ok, and that's Steel Battalion. The reason why this game could actually be good, is that the developer isn't afraid to forget MS's original hype about Kinect being some sort of miracle device for all your games. They recognize the limits of the system, and are implementing a proper controller into the gameplay, alongside Kinect. I mean holy shit, isn't that the most obvious thing to do in the world?

you're funny, afraid?do you know Steel Battalion announced in MS's TGS keynote?

yeah forget,i guess you and "some" people always forget "something" to make you feel better

Oh, you were referring to me talking about the developer, got it!
Yeh, I know perfectly well they talked about Steel Battalion, that's how I know about it. My point is that Microsoft tried to convince people that Kinect was the future of gaming, period. They tried their best to rake in the 'core' audience as well as the casual audience, telling us that traditional controls were the past now.
'Star Wars Kinect was placed as a massive effort to legitimise Kinect as a gameplaying interface' - Brad Shoemaker, Giantbomb.
What games like Star Wars Kinect show us is that replacing traditional control schemes with Kinect controls just doesn't cut it, no matter the promises pre-release.
There are two specific types of 'good' Kinect game,
1. The type that recognizes the limits of the hardware and/or is designed with that in mind, instead of trying to shoe-horn Kinect controls into every aspect of the game: see Double Fine Happy Action Theater or Steel Battalion
2. Games that use a completey new control scheme that you simply cannot emulate on a traditional control pad: see Dance Central
The Promise of Kinect on 360 =/= the reality of Kinect on 360.
