We have an announcement of an announcement! Season 3's starting date will be announced in the next 30 days. 

The My Little Pony Friendship is Magic crew is hard at work on the new season! Just between us ponies, we're less than 30 days away from announcing the season 3 premiere date/time!

I'm happy.

I'm thinking they'll do an announcement at their upcoming panel at comic con on the 11th of October. I'm hoping they'll make that announcement sooner. Especially since we might have to wait another whole month for the season to actually begin (they said somewhere that they'd tell us the date 4 weeks in advance... that's not set in stone though).

I like this one. If I were ever interested in writing a fan fic, it would be about the events of Discord's ruling and how Celestia and Luna defeated him. Though I'm pretty sure many of you mentioned this theme, or even perhaps are writing about it. I still think it's a cool topic... movie material!
