Being that Nintendo has kept the damn Wii U with strict and utmost confidentiality leaving us gamers, analysts and the media running wild with our imaginations and expectations based on what they showed at E3 last year and what we've heard over the past year of numerous unsubstantiated rumors or ambiguous news, I think Nintendo's E3 will be a damn surprise to some degree for anybody, may it be prideful cheers or utter disappointment. It'll be full of excitement one way or another. I will say that there will be hardly any lukewarm reception.

Wii U will be a good console for MMOs

The Wii U’s touchscreen controller may make the Wii U a great platform for MMO games. While speaking to Official Nintendo Magazine, Funcom’s Joel Bylos explained that the touchscreen would allow the console to run MMO games without compromising the experience.

Wii U could be the first real console on which running an MMORPG without compromise is plausible. The controller is perfect for lining up those rows of hotbars that are essential in most MMOs. A customisable touchscreen interface combined with the 3D spatial movement of a console controller could be a winner.

Hopefully developers will take note and utilise the advantages that the Wii U’s unique controller provides.

Well, personally, I am excited; but I don't want to hype myself up too much for nothing. I will keep my expectation to average and not overthink it

Good. While I'm expecting some nice surprises, also i'm expecting others not so pleasant.

Have this been posted?

Apparently Telltale isn't working on the Walking Dead for the Wii U right now...

Another 3rd party title not coming to Wii U? At this rate the list of no-Wii U version will be enormous.

Is this the first console launch you guys ever remember?

The both of you seem to forget that no new console ever gets every single upcoming game to the platform right away.   Do you guys remember that FIFA and PES were not released on PS3 the first year?  What got God Of War 2?  PS2 or PS3?   X360 missed out on several titles in 2005 as well.

I supposed I should also make a logical point of refernce and not that the avaiability of a new consoles SDK's in the first year leading to release are pretty limited therby making it impossible to every game to be released on the new console.   Many studios may have a couple of SDK's but that's enough for prelimenary R&D only, not full blown software development.

Hey man, I'm only bringing the news ;) the only games that would be surprising if they missed Wii U are AAA games - at least that's the case in my mind... Like if AC3 wouldn't have come to the Wii U - that wouldn't look too promising!

Honestly, was expecting a little more. Maybe not Tomb Raider, but Epic Mickey 2 port from the PS360, or from the Wii (Wii U HD Version for example) using still the Wiimote instead of the Upad is what I expect. Why? Junction Point seems very happy with the sales of the first one and it's using the Wii as the lead platform. Even the 3DS is getting its exclusive game (which looks awesome).

Also, announcing RE6 version at E3 will make people roll eyes rather than be surprised. So, why waste time on E3 while it can be used to show other games? If there's actually a NDA and everything is unveiled until then, expect some big backlash and not a warm reception like the Wii.
