Forums - General - Does anyone play epic music/movies/tv-shows during sleep so that they can dream epic dreams?

Please don't call me abnormal.

I listen to music almost every night after I go to bed but mostly slow, relaxing fare, often instrumental music or accoustic guitar (Ewan Dobson, Andy McKee, Eric Mongrain and Jon Gomm make perfect music for relaxation).

I do listen to epic music when I'm writing though, to get inspired! And it works too!

You're a writer?

I listen to podcasts I've already heard, not to influence my dreaming or anything, just relaxes me and clears my mind. Helps me get to sleep

I always fall asleep when listening to music no matter how loud it is lol

Even if the dreams do turn out awesome, that's still not my intention. I'm just too lazy to turn it off I guess xD

Playing a game 3 or 4 hours straight before going to sleep is a sure way to end up dreaming about it.
Leaving the tv or music on doesn't work. I always wake up to turn it off if I forget to set the sleep timer.

I don't think that'll work lol

I'm trying to be! Been writing for some years, all sorts of things from short stories to simple poetry to novels.
