PS Vita Suffers 78 Percent Sales Drop, Should Sony Worry ??

Sales for the PlayStation Vita have dropped 72 percent in its second week, with only 72,000 units being sold. It’s been something of a shaky launch for the PlayStation Vita in Japan.

Sony initially sold 324,000 units in its first few days, but things have changed drastically.  Since its initial launch figures, PS Vita has sold only 72,479 thats a drop of 78 percent.

When the Nintendo 3DS was launched it only dropped 44 percent in sales after its second week.
There have been reports of glitches and technical issues with the PS Vita, and Sony released a statement stating the system updates will be released in order to fix these issues.

The PS Vita is set to launch in the U.S. and Europe early next year, all these bugs should be fixed before launching in other parts of the globe.

Yes, why not?
Now she needs to bring some great IPs to Vita on Japan. She already lost Monster Hunter, so she really needs to do something.

This has been discussed to death already, just a different stat to change the title ..

I feel like Sony doesn't have any reason to start worrying yet since its only been two weeks and not many of the launch games appeal to the Japanese market. If the sales are still this bad once the system is out in all regions and has a high profile game out for it, then they should start worrying.

It doesn't even seem like Sony is caring as of now. I Don't know when they will start, for that matter.

Business.

On the bright side, they just had their second highest week ever.

They shouldn't worry just yet, maybe if this continues for more than a couple of months
