What does "LTD" mean in this case?

Pretty sure it's a mistake on his part.

LTD in sales discussion means Life To Date, ie what it has already sold from launch till now. In logical terms it could mean any other date, but it would have to be specified... otherwise LTD can only mean till now. (it would be rather odd to use the short form LTD when specifying a date though, instead Life to Dec.2012 or Life to 01/01/2013.)

Alternately he may have made up his own acronym: Life To Discontinuation... but making up new acronyms on the spot without explaining them is kinda silly.

Ah, weird... I'd never heard of it as Life To Discontinuation, I thought I'd just made that up.
