No RPG comes close to the experience that I had with Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals, which is why it's also my favourite game of all time.

I'm also a huge fan of Parasite Eve, Diablo II (and it's LOD expansion), Panzer Dragoon Saga, Story of Thor, Crystallis, Secret of Mana and Secret of Mana 2, Xenogears, Final Fantasy IV and VI, Pokemon Gold/Silver, Dragon Warrior Monsters and, most recently, Pokemon Black/White, Dragon Quest IX and both Souls games.

So many good ones out there though.

Final fantasy X and Golden sun: the lost age are my favorite rpgs.

Final Fantasy Tactics

Playstation All-Stars is one of the best games I've played this gen, and is the most fun I've had in a game this gen.

Dragon Age: Origins and Fire Emblem (7)

Oh gosh don't make me choose >.<

It has to be a big tie between seiken dentetsu 3 (secret of mana 2), Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean: Till the end of time and Super Mario RPG.

For me, it would have to be Morrowind.

Damn, there are a lot of titles that have been mentioned that I haven't ever played once or played very little of, which makes me want to start going through them.

I remember the original Shadow Hearts for PS2 being a great title, and it got overlooked because of FFX coming out around the same time. I was in college at the time and there was a local video game shop on campus. I went in there (I went regularly, so the guy knew me) and saw both this title and FFX sitting on the shelf. In the end, I chose Shadow Hearts and was certainly happy with that choice.
