they make stupid decisions like bringing the franchise to PSP. i know they didn't think i was going to buy the PSP or anyone else just because they brought the franchise to the portable system.

I have a feeling Yakuza is more succesful than VC in the west. Yakuza doesn't have tha english VA but  subtitles only unlike VC which has a great VA and I have a feeling VC is kinda overtracked in here IMHO.

Anyway,  I agree they alienate their fanbase by releasing it on the PSP.  Stupid Sega, they also haven't localize Shining hearts but I can't hate them totally because of Yakuza series.

In my experience, VG chartz undertracks.

But according to VGchartz,  in America it's not even close....Valkyria Chronicles 1 outsells Yakuza 3 and 4 combined...and by a wide margin.

yea. funny isn't it. and yet they can't seem to get that they need to bring the series back to PS3. i hope sony localises the game if need be.

Well this stems from the poor decision to make VC "2" on PSP. The true 2 should have remained on PS3 and a spin-off should have occured on the PSP. I understand why Sega would put VC on PSP as it is a good fit, but putting the numbered sequels was a poor decision all around. I wish that I spoke Japanese so I could import.
